This is definitely some good news for smokers who are finding it difficult to quit smoking. A new study, conduct by Srinakharinwirot University’s Department of Medicine in Thailand has found the usefulness of using fresh lime to suppress smoking urges as compared to nicotine gum.

The test was conducted among regular smokers who were willing to quit smoking and each one of them received either fresh lime or nicotine gum. Smoking reduction was tested by measuring the amount of exhaled carbon monoxide. The severity of craving was also measured through the use of a visual analogue scale.

How this Juice Works

Lime has many benefits that include alkalinizing the tissues that are more acidic in smokers.  It also has strong antimicrobial properties against multiple strains of E. coli and stopping the survival of Vibrio Cholera.

The Outcome
