Phones that Emit High Levels of Radiation

For a phone to make it to the shop in the US and get an FCC certification, it’s SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) should be less than 1.6 watts for every kg of its weight.

Phone radiation has never been proven to be bad for our health but certain theories claim that it is very dangerous. Some researchers also claim that phone radiation causes cancer but others do not agree with this.  Nevertheless, the following phones emit the highest radiation levels:

The Motorola Droid Maxx (SAR: 1.54)

This is a costly device that comes with a long-lasting battery. It has a durable and colorful design to make it one of the most attractive phones in the market. But its high performance comes at a cost, it emits a ton of radiation and this can affect your health.

The Motorola Droid Ultra (SAR: 1.54)

This is a super thin phone that comes with a large screen for looking and taking pictures in comfort. It also has a long-lasting battery and interesting smart features such as smart notifications and voice command. The downside is, it doesn’t have a slot for the SD card and it also lacks a grip when holding it. This phone will give you a ton of radiation and can be bad for your health.

Motorola Moto E (SAR: 1.5)

This is a cheap device that uses the android Kitkat version and can match up to other phones in terms of capability with the downside being the battery and the camera. The radiation levels of this phone can also deter you from buying it.

Alcatel One Touch Evolve (SAR: 1.49)

There is nothing spectacular about this phone other than it’s a smart phone. It has a lot of downsides such as the blurry and fuzzy screen plus the high radiation levels.

Huawei Vitria (SAR: 1.49

This is a fast device that even supports 4G connection and also comes at a very affordable price. One thing that you should watch out is the device’s high radiation levels.

Knowing the SAR of your device is very important because long-term exposure to high levels of radiation can cause brain cancer.
