Yoga is a worldwide sensation because of its many health benefits. Even with the said benefits, many people are quick to brush yoga aside because they think it’s difficult or you must have a trainer or take classes to do it properly.  Many DIY people have found that you can try a few simple yoga poses right at home without an instructor. It might be difficult at first but as people say “practice makes perfect”.  The following are five yoga tips that you can try on your own.

Yoga Tips

For this easy yoga practice, you need to set aside at least 15 minutes. Finding time for yoga tends to be the difficult part than actually doing yoga. If you don’t have enough time, then you can do sun salutations or Surya Namaskar every day.

Find the right spot in your house where you have enough room to lay your mat down when its time to do yoga. Decide on the direction that you want to face and place a candle right infront, this is your altar.

Find the right time of the day where there is no disturbances or interruptions. This can be early in the morning or right after work. Whatever time works for you, make it your priority and practice yoga at that time every day.

Wear the clothes that you are most comfortable in. It’s not a must that you wear Lulu lemon yoga outfit. Wear some pair of sweats if you have them or even your pajamas. The trick is not to wear something tight.

Finally, do the yoga poses slowly, gently and with a smile on your face. Never rush and go beyond your limits, its best if you respect your body. The beauty of home yoga is when you listen to your body and find the teacher from within.
