An Easy to Prepare Cancer-Fighting Soup with Tomatoes and Turmeric

A bowl of tomato soup is an American classic but it’s also loved in other countries such as Poland and Spain. By introducing a few more ingredients, this classic soup can be upgraded into something more powerful, a cancer fighting remedy.

No one wants to hear the bad news of a cancer diagnosis but the sad reality is that this disease is spreading really fast. The good news is, this soup can cut the chances of getting cancer and other health complications.


Ground black pepper

A cup of diced tomatoes

One onion, minced

Two minced garlic cloves

¾ cup of cherry tomatoes, fresh, rinsed and halved

One teaspoon of dried basil

Half a teaspoon of Himalayan salt

Half a cup of low salt vegetable stock

One tablespoon of apple cider vinegar

2 teaspoons of turmeric powder

1 Teaspoon of virgin coconut oil


Turn the stove into medium heat

Start frying the garlic and onion cloves in a saucepan for about one minute

Once fried, introduce cherry tomatoes and turmeric powder

When the cherry tomatoes become soft, add the can of tomatoes, apple cider vinegar and vegetable stock. Also add the dried basil at this point and allow them to boil.

Lower the heat and allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes

Turn off the heat and stir until the soup becomes smooth

Add freshly ground pepper to taste.
